Modules to contract: Octopus Guest
The visit profile can be viewed from the menu Usage reports > Visit profile. This section shows the global data of the registered user profiles at a generic level by Location / WLAN or in an aggregated way by Organizations or groups.
Operations
Date selector
It allows us to select the dates on which we want to observe the data and statistics. There is the possibility of quick selectors for the last 7 days, 14 days or 30 days; or in a customized way, selecting the start and end date.
Export data
The data can be exported in Excel format by clicking on the button . There is another way to export this data through API REST.

Averages
Within the selected date range, the average of the following data is displayed:
Connected users:
Average number of users connected per day for the selected date range. You can configure the widget to display:
Total: Total number of users connected in the date range.
Average: Average number of users connected per day in the date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of users connected in a day.
New users:
Average number of new users connected per day for the selected date range. You can configure the widget to display:
Total: Total number of new users connected in the date range.
Average: Average number of new users connected per day in the date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of new users connected in a day.
Recurring users:
Average number of recurring users connected per day for the selected date range. You can configure the widget to display:
Total: Total number of recurring users connected in the date range.
Average: Average number of recurring users connected per day in the date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of recurring users connected in a day.
Connected users distribution
Number of users connected by each access method in the selected date range. Each access method is distinguished in the graph.
Registered users distribution
Number of users who have registered for each access method in the selected date range. Each access method is distinguished in the graph.
Devices
Shows the data of the devices with which the users have connected. It differentiates between Laptop, Tablet or Mobile. The widget can be configured to display:
Percentage: Percentage of usage made with each device.
Average: Average number of devices used per day.
Total: Total accesses made with each type of device.
Operating systems
Data of the operating systems used by the users. The widget can be configured to display:
Percentage: Percentage of use made with each operating system.
Average: Average number of operating systems used per day.
Total: Total accesses made with each operating system.
Browsers
Data of the type of browser used by users to validate themselves in the captive portal. The widget can be configured to display:
Percentage: Percentage of usage made with each browser.
Average: Average use of each browser per day.
Total: Total accesses made with each operating system.
Lenguages
Captive portal print data for each language. The ones configured in the captive portal will be available, taking into account that the ones that are preconfigured in the client's browser are loaded by default and that there is one by default. The widget can be configured to display:
Percentage: Percentage of accesses made with each language.
Average: Average number of validations per day with each language.
Total: Total accesses made with each language.
Distribution by gender
Data of registered men and women. The widget can be configured to display:
Total: Total Men/Women connected in the selected date range.
Percentage: Percentage of Men/Women connected in the selected date range.
Average: Daily average of Men/Women connected in the selected date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of Men/Women connected in the selected date range.
Age distribution
Data of registered users in the following age ranges:
Under 15 years old.
16-25 years old.
26-35 years old.36-45 years old.
46-55 years old.
56-65 years old.
Over 65 years old.
You can configure the widget to display:
Total: Total number of people connected in that age range in the selected date range.
Percentage: Percentage of people connected in that age range in the selected date range in the selected date range.
Average: Daily average of people connected in that age range in the selected date range in the selected date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of people connected in that age range in the selected date range in the selected date range.
Countries
Access data with each country; configured in the validation portal. The widget can be configured to display:
Total: Total accesses with that country in the selected date range.
Percentage: Percentage of accesses with that country in the selected date range.
Average: Daily average of accesses with that country in the selected date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of accesses with that country in the selected date range..
Consents use of data
Data of checkboxes that have been accepted by users to give permissions for commercial information, geolocation, etc ; checkboxes previously selected in the WLAN configuration. The widget can be configured to display:
Total: Total number of users who have accepted consent when accessing the network in the selected date range.
Percentage: Percentage of users who have accepted consent when accessing the network in the selected date range.
Average: Daily average of users who have accepted the consent by accessing the network in the selected date range.
Maximum: Maximum number of users who have accepted consent to access the network in the selected date range.
