Registered Users

Available with the module Octopus Guest

 

You can view the Registered Users in the Usage Reports > Registered Users menu. This section lists all the users registered on the platform through the captive portal in a given Location.

Operations

Context Selector
Selector to choose the location from which you want to view the registered users. To change the selector click on the logo of the location located in the upper left corner of the section:

 

Exporting data

The data can be exported in excel format by clicking on the export button, when the button is clicked a calendar will appear to select the dates on which the users were registered. There is another way to export this data through API REST.

 

Enable/Disable User

It is possible to Enable/Disable registered users. If a user is disable, the portal will ask again to enter the data concerning legal permissions the next time he tries to login with his e-mail address, and it will be enabled again automatically.

Erase Users

Registered users can also be removed from the database with the buttom. This option is irreversible.

Search filtering
You can filter the search in the list of registered users by the following criteria: Email, login, registration date, date of birth, language, connections, status , notifications check, likes check, third party check or location check.

Types of access

The types of validation that generate a new registered user are:

  • Form

  • Facebook

  • Twitter

  • Linkedin

  • Google

  • Ticket or Passcode + Form 

  • Payment

  • SMS + Form

  • WiFi Sponsored



User data

In addition to the email, different user data can be collected depending on the configuration and/or the social network that users use to validate themselves. These data could be:

  • Registration date.

  • Language.

  • Duration.

  • Accumulated traffic.

  • Connections number and traceability of connections.

  • Email.

  • Name and Surnames

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

  • Mobile.

  • Postcode.

  • Country

  • Legal regulation checkboxes accepted.

Through the history of permissions modifications it is possible to check the checkboxes that the clients accept each time that renew their permissions after be disabled
