The Octopus Platform allows the full customization of the terms of use you to fully customize the Legal Terms that will be shown displayed to the users in the captive portal. For that, there are this purpose, it provides users with three different document formats to be able to configure the legal terms of use, which are explained bellowdetailed below and can be configured in the platform in the section Configuration > Splash portal > Legal Terms.

Legal Terms list
The content of each column is:
Type: Type of legal terms: General terms, conditions of use or privacy policy. In the captive portals we will have the possibility to set up general terms or separate terms of use + privacy policy.
Name: Text field that identifies the document.
Owner: Field indicating in which Organization, Locations Group or Location are associated the terms of use.
Design: Type of design of the terms of use: Default template, ad-hoc text and redirects.
WLANS: Number of associated WLANs.
Creation: Date of creation of the Legal Terms

Add or edit Legal Terms
Possibility to create new legal terms by pressing the button
and selecting the desired option. If you want to edit legal terms, press the button
in the list.
When creating new legal terms you must know that in the portals we have the option to configure:clicking on the create button or in the case of already created legal terms by clicking on the edit button. Depending on the combination you want for the portals, when creating the legal terms you have the option to select three options: General Terms, Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.
General Terms: One single document where we will recapitulate all the legal information.
Terms of use and privacy policy: Two different documents, one oriented to the conditions of use of the service and the other to the data protection policy.

The common information to be completed on any document will be:
Name: Text field that identifies the document.
Owner: Field indicating in which Organization, Locations Group or Location the terms of use are associated.
Within the configuration of each document there are three types of design and depending each of them an associated configuration:
Default template
In this case, a default template provided by the platform would be used. The text has labels that can be replaced by editable fields with information about the customer and the operator or company offering the service. You You can edit the template by checking the "Edit Template" option and you can modify any part of the text and make use of the labels. Besides, the template is available in several languages and in each of them you can modify the labels and edit the text.
The labels to be configured for the type of document vary depending on the type of legal terms being configured:
Exists the possibility to visualize a preview of the terms of use that will be shown to the users once the data has been filled.
Ad-hoc text
In this case, the terms of use can be edited completely for the captive portal inside the text editor that exists in the WIFI platform when the Ad-hoc text option is selected:
Redirections
In this option an external URL is included so when the users want to see the terms of use they will be redirected to a website which will contein the terms of use of the Wifi service. It is possible to include a URL for every language on the captive portal. If there is not an URL for a determinated language, it is redirected to the URL selected in the default one.
