To set up single sign-on with Microsoft Azure Active Directory, you will need to have your local Active Directory users synchronized with Azure.
If you already have a successful sync with your accounts in Azure AD, you are ready to start with Octopuswifi single sign-on using OAuth 2.0 SSO integration.
Register the application in Azure Active Directory
Log in to https://portal.azure.com
Access the menu on the left side and select "Azure Active Directory"
Select “App Registration”
Select "New registration" to create a new application in which you can set the redirection URL as Web to Octopuswifi
Name: Set the application name
Redirect URI: https://app.octopuswifi.com/OAuth
Name: Set the application name
URL of redirection: https://app.octopuswifi.com/OAuth
The Octopuswifi application will be created and an ID will be generated which must be written down.
Once the new application has been created, select "Certificates and secrets".
Then select "New client secret" to create a new customer secret.
Description: Set a description for the secret
Expires: Set expiration time (24 months is recommended)
Important: Save the data as it will not be displayed again later (password and expiration date).
Select "Features in preview version".
Write down the data of the following bits of information
Now go to API Permissions and Add a Permission > Microsoft Graph > Delegated Permissions
Then enable "Login users" and "View basic user profile", and finally click on Add permissions.
Once this is done, you have completed the Azure part of the configuration.
Now all that remains is to send this information to the Blue Octopuswifi support team.
