Access Profiles

Available with the module Octopus enterprise, in addition to Octopus Guest

Functionality with which it is possible to configure the radius attributes of all the manufacturers integrated in the platform. These access profiles are fully configurable and with the dictionary of attributes of each manufacturer it is possible to create different highly customizable user sessions with parameters such as session times, maximum inactivity time, traffic limits, etc. These access profiles can be selected in all access methods configured in the Location.

Access profiles list

The content of each column is:

  • Name: Text field that identifies the name of the access profile.

  • Owner: Field indicating in which Organization, Group of Locations or Location the access profile is associated.

  • Associated services: Sessions to which the access profile is associated.

  • Individual Operations:

    • Delete: An access profile can be deleted as long as it does not have any associated service.

    • Clone: Clones the indicated access profile and it is possible to modify its configuration and save it under another name.

    • Edit: Allows you to modify the configuration of the access profile.

It is possible to filter the list by Name, Owner, Associated Services and date of creation.

Create or edit Access profiles

Possibility to create a new access profile by clicking on the create button. If you want to edit access profiles, click on the edit button in the list.

The common information to complete in any access profile will be:

  • Name: Text field that identifies the profile.

  • Owner: Field in which indicates in which Organization, Group of Locations or Location the access profile is associated.

  • Radius Attributes Response

    • Active: Field to enable or disable a configured attribute.

    • Dictionary: Drop-down list showing all the manufacturers or references supported by the platform.

    • Attribute: Drop-down list showing all the attributes of the previously selected manufacturer.

    • Operation: List of available operations.

    • Value: Field in which the desired value for each attribute must be entered.
