Mail Accounts Creation

Available with the module Octopus Guest.

 

It allows you to configure an email account to send notifications or campaigns to users via email. 

Mail accounts list

The content of each column is:

  • Name: Name identifying the mail account created.

  • Host (IP/DOMINIO): IP or domain of the SMTP server

  • Username: User of the email account.

  • Owner: Field that indicates in which Organization, Locations Group or Location the APP is associated.

  • Creation: Date of creation.

  • Individual operations

    • Delete: Delete APP

    • Enviar correo de prueba: Se puede introducir una dirección de correo para enviar un e-mail de prueba y comprobar si la cuenta funciona correctamente.

    • Editar: Cambiar la configuración de la cuenta.

It is possible to filter the list by Name, Server (IP/DOMAIN), User, Owner and date of creation.

Add or edit Mmail accounts

Possibility to create a new email account by clicking the button. In case of an account that has already been created, click on the edit button. In order to configure the server you should simply fill in the following fields:

  • Mail account

    • Name: Identifying name of the mail account created.

    • Owner: Field that indicates in which Organization, Locations Group or Location the APP is associated.

    • Host (IP/DOMINIO): IP or domain of the SMTP server

    • Encryption: If the server has encryption, it can be activated and its type selected.

    • SMTP port: Port to connect to SMTP server.

    • Email From: Email from the mail account, which usually matches the user.

    • Username: Email account user.

    • Password: Email account password.
