Licenses
In this section you can view all the licenses contracted with Octopus Platform, as well as their status and associated information.
Licenses list
The content of each column is:
License Key: Code that will serve as a license activator.
Organization: Associated organization.
Modules: Modules of the platform that the license has enabled for the organization.
APs: Associated APs limit.
Rooms: Limit of associated rooms.
Status: The platform classifies licenses into the following statuses:
Pending Provision: Generated license, pending assignment to an organization.
Pending Start: Provisioned license, pending to start its use. It is considered to be in use when there are 5 device connections.
In Use: The license is in use, then the contract period is valid.
Access denied: Access denied to the system, where the service is unavailable. Usually forced by some contractual cause.
Contract finalized: The license contract has been terminated and the service is no longer available.
Start date: Start date of the license, if it is in use.
End date: End date of the license, if it is in use.
It is possible to filter the list by the content of the different columns.
Individual Operations
View license data: By clicking on this icon you can view all the licence information:
General data: Organization associated to the license, start date, end date, number of APs, number of rooms and duration of the subscription. In the information on the number of APs and rooms, you can see the maximum amount available to configure and those in use.
Platform Modules: Platform modules contracted in the license.
Upgrades: Updates and status changes.
Notifications: Automatic notifications sent.
Assignments: Locations for which the license is assigned and number of configured elements.

Notifications of license expiry
In order to ensure that customers' service is not affected, a series of notifications will be sent when the licenses are close to their expiry date:
First notice: 1 month before the end of the contract.
Second notice: 15 days before the end of the contract.
Third notice: 7 days before the end of the contract.
Fourth notice: 1 day before the end of the contract.
Fifth notice: End of contract with cut-off.
Sixth notice: Day after, reminder of possible renewal.
