Surveys

Available with the module Octopus Business, in addition to Octopus Guest

The Octopus Platform allows the creation of micro-surveys, which can be referred to in the Portal, Mail or SMS campaigns. The content of the surveys can be configured in multiple languages.  All the data from the assessments will be available for later analysis.

List of surveys created to facilitate administration. It is also possible to filter the list by the content of the different columns.



The content of every column is: 

  • Owner: Defines the permissions with which the campaign can be viewed.

  • URL: Shortened survey URL.

  • Deliveries: Number that represents the times that a survey has been sent.

  • Answers: Number that represents the times that a survey has been completed.

  • Rating: Average score of the responses to each survey.

  • Related Campaigns: How many campaigns are associated with the survey and link to which ones. If you have any campaign associated with the survey you cannot delete it. 

  • Individual operations:

    • Delete: Delete the survey from the database. Be careful ,you will lose the statistics.

    • Clone: Clone the campaign and it is possible to modify the configuration and save under another name.

    • Edit: Possibility to modify the campaign configuration.

Add or edit Survey

Possibility to create a new survey by pressing the button  or in a campaign that has already been created we click on the edit button .

Within the survey configuration there are different customization options

  • Name: Text field identifying each campaign.

  • Permits: Field in which it indicates in which Organization, location Groups or location the survey is associated, this survey can be modified by the users who have access permissions to the selected item

  • General Data: Texts shown directly in the survey

    • Survey Title: Allows you to set the title of the survey.

    • Introduction text: Text field that will be displayed at the beginning of each survey.

    • Greeting text: Text field that will be displayed after the survey has been answered.

  • Answer type: List of icons and numbers by which the client can answer the questions. Emojis, stars or numbers.

  • Questions: Set the questions that will apear on the survey. You cannot delete them so as not to alter the statistics, but you can edit, add and choose which issues to activate (a maximum of five).

    • Name: Identifying field of each question

    • Question: Question of the survey with possibility of translation in each of the languages.

  • Negative survey notification: There is an additional drop-down menu in which you can add a notification via e-mail that will be activated when the survey is evaluated negatively below the defined value. It is configurable:

    • Value from which notifications will be sent.

    • Notification destination email

    • Email account of the ones configured in the platform, from which the notifications will be sent. 

This survey created can be used in the different campaigns:

  • Portal Campaign: There is a popup style of activation after login to include it.

  • SMS Campaign: It can be added directly in the campaign settings and the survey link will come at the end of the message text.

  • Mail Campaign: The component can be added in the template mail and in the campaign you can choose the survey to which it refers.
