Octopus Wifi v 1.23. Release Notes

On 10 de Febrero de 2021, Blue Octopus publishes the update to version 1.23 of the Octopus Wifi platform. The update window will be between 10:30 and 11:00 and in principle does not affect the service.

NEW FEATURES

Engenius Cloud Solution Integration: Approval and availability on the platform of the new Cloud solution from the manufacturer Engenius.

Reorganization of the analytics module with groups: The user interface is reorganized to group the different areas of the analytics module and also incorporates in this section the statistics of the AdinWifi module.

Analítics > General Dashboard Update:

  • New widget with information about the operating systems of the devices logged into the network.

  • Configuration button in the different widgets, with the option of displaying the information in different formats.

  • Data export adaptation.

  • API adaptation

Analítics > Network profile Update:

  • New graphs with information on average connection times per day.

  • New top widgets with general upstream and downstream traffic data in that time range.

  • Configuration button in the different widgets, with the option of displaying the information in different formats.

  • New graph of connected users per day.

  • Widgets with data information obtained from the client's devices.

  • Configuration button in the different widgets, with the option of displaying the information in different formats.

Analítics > Benchmarking Update: Adaptation of comparatives, with new usage data generated.

Daily limit in User Accounts: Possibility of setting a daily time limit in the configuration of the different sessions of the User Accounts access method.

Button back for Variable Tickets: In the issuance of variable time tickets, inclusion of a back button to improve usability.

Configuration of the mailing account, in access method user account: Generic configuration of the mailing account for all the functionalities of the access method (during the issuance of a new account by the administrator, mail confirmation of accounts in self-registration, password recovery).

Independent permission to view issued user accounts: New permission is created in the role generation for this functionality.

BUGS

TPlink Omada - Error capturing radius server: Validation errors generated by the radius server are displayed in the portal.

Translations Filter Monitoring > Portal Tracker: Translations are incorporated.

Filtering of issued user accounts: The filter in the status column is corrected.

Failure to login local user accounts: In case of expiration of a session, the generation of a new one is corrected in a second login.
