Octopus Wifi v 2.5. Release Notes
On April 28, 2022, Blue Octopus releases the upgrade to Octopus Platform version 2.5. The upgrade window will be between 9:00 and 9:30 and in principle does not affect the service.
NEW FUNCTIONALITIES
External post-login video campaigns: possibility to display a Vimeo or YouTube video as a post-login campaign on the platform.
Audiences on user lists: it is now possible to generate an audience for campaigns for a single list of users registered on the portal.
Amazon SES: configuration has been added to the platform to send emails through the Amazon AWS platform itself and not by traditional SMTP.
SAML Azure AD: corporate integration with Microsoft's Azure AD for SAML 2.0 protocol has been added.
Help Buttom in the platform: added a help button in the main menu with platform wiki and technical support data for faster access.
FIXED BUGS
Error when trying to recover password: when requesting a password reset in the login page, a 500 error was displayed in orange that prevented to complete the process and reset the password.
Error in the selector in the access section: after creating an access (ticket or mac) when returning to the list of issued accesses, it appeared empty due to the selection of an automatic wrong group.
Error in the services of the ticket list: when changing the context in the ticket list, the services of the previous context remained active.
EN language error in WLAN legal terms: a ghost EN language with empty texts was registered.
Error with Nuclias Cloud and Juniper Mist: a bug was detected in the code of these manufacturers that caused the portal not to appear and instead a 404 error page was displayed.
